Life in ICM

1.  The Consecrated life of the members of ICM will be developed progressively through five (5) phases as follows:

   a. The "Come and See" phases (Jn. 1:39) traditionally called the aspirants, the postulants, sets no fixed time limit for those who enter this period. The average age to enter this period is between 16 and 40. There are exceptions any way.

   b. The formation phase -- "The Novitiate". The Novices will have the new Name (Lk. 6:13; Ix 61:10-62) "ICM".

   c. The Commitment Phase -- "The profession of temporary Vow."

   d. The Consecration Phase -- The profession of Perpetual Vow -- The real plenitude of love and the most glorious consecrated love at its summit (Lk. 15:31).

   e. All the laws and provisions for fulfillment of the above phases; b, c, and d, are contained in CJC, can. 732, 598-602 (Ref. CJC, II, can. 646; III, can. 654-658; and IV, can. 659-661) and 735: 1,2,3; Ref. Evangelical Counsels in this Constitutions; Formation.
