 | 1. The society of "Incarnatio Consecratio
Mission" abbreviated as ICM is the society of Apostolic Life (CJCl, can.
731-746).
It is similar quasi, comparable to the Religious Institute of Consecrated
Life (can. 731,1).

 | 2. It is in the Mystery of
Incarnatio-Consecratio that the Society owes its original name, its entire Constitution,
as well its existence and esse. The Mystery IC becomes its "causa efficients, causa
formalis, causa exemplaris, and causa finalis." |

Purpose
"ICM"

 | 3. The Society ICM has as its generic purpose
for Priests and Brothers/ or Sisters the ardent desire to love God toward perfection, i.e.
the Gospel Commandment of Charity as well, as its specific aim, to share such salvific
Love with all people of the world, of all cultures, above all, the Gentes, the
de-Christianized Society, the poorest of the poor, in both materially and spiritually.2

 | By the way of "multiformis" Evangelization for
the service and building up of the church through the Life of three Evangelica Counsels
and ICM Promise.
All in all, this being achieved through, with, and in Mary, the Mother of mankind.

 | 4. Consequently, as a result, the ICM takes
part in the Universal Redemption of Christ, who is the only Redeemer of all mankind. As a
consequence, ICM will participate in the Universal Mission with the One, Holy, Catholic,
and Apostolic Church as the living Body of Christ has to fulfill in this world.
And as a consequence, the ICM will share with the Universal Mission of Our Lady in the
Church; She is a "Mater Ecclesia" (Pope Paul VI).

 | 5. The basic resources upon which are built the
Society and its Constitution are as follows:
The Bible,
The Magisterium of the Popes,
The Great documents of Vatican II and others,3
The Codex Jus Canonicum 1983. Together with this Constitution, as well
with the Societys sound customs and wholesome traditions, all of which constitute
the patrimony of the Society (can. 578; Essential Elements 111:14).

2 Moreover, against the background of modern mans
research for world unity, the Mission ICM also cooperates to heighten the Churchs
mission in the contemporary Society (Ref. Pope Johns opening speech to the Council,
Oct. 11, 1962).
